Calculate your energy costs
Most electrical equipment has a nameplate or sticker giving the power rating in watts or kilowatts (1,000 watts = 1 kilowatt).
This simple formula will help you estimate the running costs of your equipment:
Watts ÷ 10 = daily cost
Example: 100 Watts ÷ 10 = 10 pence a day
